BEWARE: I received a call at 4:07 pm from 888-997-1234, saying my credit card did not have enough information on it, to make purchases on line!
Another friend of mine received what sounds like the exact same call on his cell 888 997 1234.it went to voice mail. when checking it there was a message “This is the security dept. please contact the security dept immediately.. ” a lot of people are getting tagged with that one.
I believe this was probably a scam!
Type in the phone # on google, and when it comes up click 800 notes to report them.
I pray no one goes through it and gives out there info! I hope my mom and other elderly people don’t respond to it.
I think we all know to not give any personal information out, to an unknown caller, but thought I would pass this on!!!!
If the calls continue, call your state attorney general’s office and give them the number. I’ve done this several times and they will stop it. Sometimes the caller will go to another number and start calling again. I’ve just about broken then from calling me.
